Based on characters from the Leatherstocking Tales by James Fenimore Cooper, this syndicated television series is set in the Hudson Valley of New York State in 1755 during the French and Indian War.

The show starred Lee Horsley (The Sword and the Sorcerer) as Hawkeye, Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) as Elizabeth Shields, and Rodney A. Grant (Dances with Wolves) as Chingachgook.

Appearing in this episode as Brother of North Wind, actor Lorne Cardinal would be cast in the made-for-television movies Tecumseh: The Last Warrior (1995) and Crazy Horse (1996).

Gordon Tootoosis (in the role of Ravenoak) would later portray Chief Powhatan in 1995's Pocahontas: The Legend which starred Miles O'Keeffe (Tarzan the Ape Man) as Captain John Smith.

The Canadian production filmed in North Vancouver and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Lynda Carter's character does not appear in this episode.
