Sabu had previously starred in both Elephant Boy (1937) and The Drum (1938) for producer Alexander Korda... and would do so again in 1942's Jungle Book.

Actor Conrad Veidt is also remembered for his appearances in many film classics, including The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) and Casablanca (1942).

Later films of British stage and film actor John Justin include Untamed (1955), Safari (1956) and Lisztomania (1975).

Cast as the Djinn, Rex Ingram previously appeared in 1918's Tarzan of the Apes (Elmo Lincoln) and would later be cast in 1955's Tarzan's Hidden Jungle (Gordon Scott).

Conrad Veidt passed in 1943 at the age of 50.

John Justin passed in 2002 at the age of 85.

Rex Ingram passed in 1969 at the age of 73.
