Made-for-television film starring Joseph Runningfox in the title role and directed by Roger Young (whose later credits would include the 2005 miniseries Hercules).

Joseph Runningfox may be recognized by film audiences for his previous screen appearances in Seems Like Old Times (1980) and Porky's II: The Next Day (1983).

Cast in the role of Juh, actor Michael Greyeyes would later star in the made-for-television films Crazy Horse (1993) and Stolen Women, Captured Hearts (1997).

Actor Ryan Black portrays the teenage Geromino alongside Kiohod Norris-Ramirez in the role of young Juh.

The cast also includes Nick Ramus (The Legend of Walks Far Woman), August Schellenberg (The New World) and Eddie Spears (Dreamkeeper).

The production filmed on locations in Arizona including the Chiricahua National Monument, San Pedro River and Sabino Canyon.

Premired on the TNT Network December 5, 1993 five days before the theatrical release of Geronimo: An American Legend.
