Martial arts action film stars American athlete and world karate champion Jim Kelly and is based on a 1974 novel of the same name, by Marc Olden.

Jim Kelly was one of the top martial arts and blaxploitation stars of the 1970s, appearing in such films as Enter the Dragon (1973) and Black Belt Jones (1974).

Directed by Al Adamson, known also for such low-budget classics as Blood of Dracula's Castle (1969) and Horror of the Blood Monsters (1970).

The cast included actor Felix Silla, who later played the role of Twiki in the 1979-1981 television series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.

In addition to the Mission Inn, Riverside, California, the production filmed on location in Haiti.

Jim Kelly passed in 2013 at the age of 67.
