Johnny Sheffield's eighth Bomba film has the jungle boy on a quest to find out more information about who his parents were and learns that his mother and father were murdered by a native chieftain, who had also killed the jungle tribe's true ruler.
Exterior location filming took place at the Baldwin Ranch (also known as Santa Anita Ranch) near Los Angeles, California.
Actor Roy Glenn (Kaje) would also be cast in two additional Bomba films: The Golden Idol (1954) and Killer Leopard (1954), and would also appear in 3 episodes of the Tarzan television series starring Ron Ely (S1.E20, S1E24, S2.E25).
Cast as Umgala, actor Don Blackman later appeared with Johnny Weissmuller on the Jungle Jim TV series (S1,E1) and with Gordon Scott in Tarzan and the Trappers (1960).
Roy Glenn passed in 1971 at the age of 56.
Don Blackman passed in 1977 at the age of 65.
