Directed by David DeCoteau (using the pseudonym of Ellen Cabot) this comedy revolves around three babes from outer space who crash-land their spaceship on an island and there, among the "wild life", encounter a trio of caveboys.

Filming locations include the caves at Bronson Canyon, Griffith Park, Los Angeles, California.

Actors Kenneth Johnson (Moon) appeared uncredited as a jungle boy in 1996's Virtual Encounters, Stefan Galio (Rock) was pictured in the September 1994 issue of Playgirl magazine, and Rodrigo Botero (Dusty) was cast in TV episodes of both Pacific Blue (S2.E12, 1996) and Baywatch (S7. E13, 1997).

David DeCoteau would later direct both 1313 Hercules Unbound! and 1313 Billy the Kid in 2012.
