Directed by Greydon Clark (Without Warning) the film features Sid Haig (Beyond Atlantis) and Richard Lynch (The Barbarians).

Actor Ruben Moreno (King) previously appeared in the 1970 film Little Big Man and the 1978 TV-move The Deerslayer.

California filming locations include the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden, Arcadia.
