Colossus and the Headhunters and Maciste Against the Headhunters are alternative titles for this Italian sword and sandal adventure. Kirk Morris (winner of the Mr.Italia Bodybuilding contest in 1961) is cast as Maciste who assists survivors of an island rocked by an erupting volcano to evacuate to a nearby island and are later captured by a tribe who is under repeated attacks by headhunters.
