Italian action-adventure film starring David Warbeck (Trog), Luciano Pigozzi (White Apache) and John Steiner (Cut and Run).

Directed by Antonio Margheriti (credited as Anthony M. Dawson), whose later films include Jungle Raiders (1985), Indio (1989) and Indio 2 - The Revolt (1991).

Following this film both Luciano Pigozzi and John Steiner appeared in Yor, the Hunter from the Future (1983), also directed by Antonio Margheriti.

Part of what is sometimes referred to as the Italian "Indiana Jonesploitation" trend, inspired by the success of 1981's Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The production filmed at the Incir De Paolis Studios, Rome, Italy and on location in the Philippines (province of Palawan).
