A modern-day bounty hunter encounters a tribe of Cheyenne Indians whose people have survived for over 100 years in the mountain wilderness of northwestern Montana.

Directed by Tab Murphy who is also a credited screenwiter for Disney's 1999 animated feature Tarzan.

In the role of Yellow Wolf is Native American (Blackfeet) actor Steve Reevis who was previously seen in 1990's Dances with Wolves and later in the 1996 made-for-television movie Crazy Horse.

The film's production designer was Trevor Williams, whose other credits include House of Dark Shadows (1970), Night of Dark Shadows (1971) and The Night Stalker (1973).

Filming locations in Canada included Banff National Park, Alberta and Takakkaw Falls in Yoho National Park, British Columbia.

Steve Reevis passed in 2017 at the age of 55.
