Original title: Xin jing wu men.

Jackie Chan stars in this martial arts action film as a young man out to revenge the death of his grandfather (who ran a Kung-fu school) caused by a dominating competitor.

The film was released in two versions: the original 1976 release (120 minutes) and then, due to the success of the Jackie Chan film The Young Masters, in 1980 in an edited 82 minute version.

This was the first film that Jackie Chan made using his stage name Sing Lung (in Chinese meaning: "becoming a dragon").
