Willie Aames (Cut and Run) and Phoebe Cates (Gremlins) star in this coming of age adventure similiar in story to 1980's The Blue Lagoon.

Upon the film's release Aames agreed to promote the movie but Cates refused due to being upset by the nudity content added by the producer.

Location filming in Israel included Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee.
