Disgraced and tortured for failing in his mission, a Soviet Spetsnaz operative escapes to the desert where hs is befriended by an African bushman.
This controversial action film stars Dolph Lungren, who had previously portrayed the character of He-Man in 1987's Masters of the Universe.
A real bushmen tribe and their 95-year-old leader, Regopstaan (who agreed to be in the movie only if his tribe could follow him everywhere), are used in the film.
The title is derived from a scene in which Lungren's character receives a ceremonial scar in the shape of a scorpion.
The production filmed on location in Namibia, Southern Africa.
