This Indonesian horror masterpiece was remade in 2017 and is not to be confused with a 1976 British film release under the same English title.

Directed by Sisworo Gautama Putra, whose previous films include the 1978 jungle thriller Primitif (Primitives).

Considered a "classic from the Golden Age of Indonesian horror" the film is available on blu-ray.
