Set in the 1880s, natives on a South Seas island are exploited by pirates who are searching for a seabed of rare pearls in dangerous waters.

Starring Jon Hall (Kehane), whose other film credits include roles alongside actor Sabu in both White Savage (1943) and Cobra Woman (1944).

Cast as Luna, Filipino actor Rudy Robles later appeared in Song of the Islands (1942), Jungle Goddess (1948), and Omoo-Omoo the Shark God (1949).

The film also featured Pedro de Cordoba, who would go on to be seen in 1943's Tarzan Triumphs starring Johnny Weissmuller (and also White Savage).

In 1953-1954, Jon Hall starred as Dr. Tom 'Ramar' Reynolds in the television series Ramar of the Jungle.

Filming locations include Balboa Beach and Santa Catalina Island, California.

Pedro de Cordoba passed in 1950 at the age of 68.

Rudy Robles passed in 1970 at the age of 64.
